I've started playing around with 0.0.8 and packaging seems straightforward. I
guess it would be better to upgrade to an official release instead of
sticking with CVS snapshots.

They do use libtool however, so it shouldn't be very difficult to get them to
make the necessary modifications for getting versioning right. Are you going
to take care of that, or do you want me to get in touch with them?

Besides that, the version I packaged didn't need many changes from what was
already there. Except for linda complaining about 0.0.8 being less than
0.2005080600 that is. I also noticed that they don't provide ALUT with 0.0.8
anymore, but have a separate release (now 1.0.1). I've started packaging that
as well and will probably have something working tomorrow.
