I know about the discution, I wasn't sure everything was checked or if
some specific issue (some specific data) was fixed as a result of the
discution.

Cool, It would be nice to see if that applies to the CVS commits, but
I'll do that after I make the bigendian patch (sadly, the only two
patches - one of which it seems was almost complete - are both 404s)
