Package: monsterz
Version: 0.7.0-2
Severity: important
Yes, I realize the license is the "DO WHAT THE FUCK YOU WANT TO PUBLIC
LICENSE".
But it's not really a good idea to have this scrolling in the main game
window. It's certainly not required by the license to show that while
the game is running.
I first noticed this when my Mom was shocked when she saw the game
telling her "FUCK YOU" as I was telling her it was a fun game for my
grandma to play. My kids also play this game.
Anyway, please consider removing this from the game itself. I'd suggest
a modification like this in monsterz.py:
COPYRIGHT = 'MONSTERZ - COPYRIGHT 2005, 2006 SAM HOCEVAR - MONSTERZ IS ' \
'FREE SOFTWARE, SEE HTTP://SAM.ZOY.ORG/PROJECTS/COPYING.WTFPL FOR ' \
'MORE DETAILS '
This gets across the same information, and uses the same terms as is
writting in monsterz.py in the module docstring, and makes the game less
likely to offend people.
