I used the latest winrott, the version you point to is winrottGL, which
is very much different (it uses openGL rendering), and was too different
to easily backport any changes to the iculus.org rott Linux port.
It could be a nice project for someone to port winrottGL to Linux, I
think the best place to start with would be just winrottGL, as it has
deviated a lott from the original rott code.
