MESS homework

This is great!!!

Right now I will review how to compile and install mess alone (I haven't
used it).

I'm apologize about the mess with the --with-quilt option, I'm terrible
out-of-date. I'm reading right now the Debian Policy version 3.9.2
(there are several awesome secrets about Debian and Debian packing
here).

About the mame-tools and mess-tools, maybe we could rename the tools
again, in the separate packages. I don't understand why two sets of
tools...

Also, I'm very happy to see that the patch solved the kfreebsd build
(thanks buildd system).
