I tried to reproduce the FTBFS in a freshly upgraded sid build chroot
but scorched3d built just fine. Did you use any bleeding edge packages
to build scorched3d to trigger this bug?

I had a glance at the entries at the top to see if it's a common bug in
the package but I didn't find anything relevant why scorched3d failed to
built on your machines.
