Hej Cesare

I tried mame 0.145 in Gnome2 and 3 and it works fine. Can you try to
reproduce the bug with a simple window manager like icewm or windowmaker ?

We switched to -windows because it is a recommandation of of the debian
games team not to start games in full screen mode.

In principle I would not mind too much to start full screen again, but
before we should find the component reponsible of the crash and report
the problem ( so we can explain it in our changelog )
