Hello,

You can download the files on your own Debian machine by running "apt-get source <packagename>". This will download the upstream (non-Debian) files and the debian files. Hopefully, the debian directory will be in a .tar.gz, so you can extract those files separately. It should contain "debian" in the file name, if I'm not mistaken.

If you don't want to download the upstream files, you'll have to do some digging with google in debian's package archives and only download that package.

If you know the version number already, you could start "apt-get source" and then copy the URL from which it's downloading. If needed, you could modify the version number in the file (if it's downloading upstream first) and use "wget" to get one specific file (like the debian tarball).

Hope it helps!

Sincerely,
kroq-gar78
