For working on this problem, there are further information needed:
First of all what makes you think this is a problem with Neverputt and
not your Intel drivers? Have you tried other games like foobillardplus
or berusky2? Do you experience the same flickering with other games or
applications?
Are you sure that you upgraded the whole system to Sid or did you mix
stable and Sid? Please use the most recent kernel version from Sid,
3.16, instead of the kernel from backports as it also contains the
latest Intel drivers and report back if your problem persists.
What is the exact name of your video card?
lspci -vnn
Please attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log to this bug report.
What version of xserver-xorg-video-intel did you install? Have you tried
the version in experimental. Does it fix your issue?
Regards,
Markus
