Indeed, the prboom-plus package does also merely Recommend the data
packages.

I also think that the game data packages that are available from the
Debian archive should all be mentioned in the Recommends field.

By the way, is it heretic-wad but heretic-shareware-data and hexen-wad
but hexen-demo-data? -wad vs. -data?
