I beg to differ. These two PWADs are somewhat special among the other
thousands of PWADs available for free (beer). They may be considered as
the "missing pieces" of Episode 1 by some and - being created by its
original author - may be even considered "semi-official" or at least
something close to this.

Anyway, I would wholeheartedly agree with you if the downloads were in the
order of several megabytes, but in the case at hand we are talking about
some mere kilobytes. And in the end, if you don't like the "extra service"
you can still just delete the packages.
