Hi,

i list, joined Kopano a couple of weeks ago and since i know Debian packaging, I can help with resolving issues and also with explaining packaging problems to the Kopano developers. 

Mark gave me this mailing list so this is just an introduction. I will try to get an overview on the current state of things in the next couple of days. Feel free to ping or include me on questions/issues.

>From what i read from the list archive, one issue is the hardening-no-fortify-functions linter warnings. Has there been any further discussion on that other than the patch from Guido?  It seems like a good idea to remove the code preventing hardening and also dropping FD_SETSIZE - so if that does not seem to break anything why not have this in packaging and eventually also remove the stuff upstream?
