Please before reporting check the BTS, this bug is already
reported/forward in bugzilla:

http://bugs.debian.org/225118
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130068

The problem is due to some desklets (see 225118):

"Some sensors (e.g. the LTVCpu sensor from the LTCandy package) access
the GUI from within a thread"
"It is now up to the sensor authors to fix their sensors."

And from bugzilla #130161 :
"gDesklets 0.25.1 will survive this." ... 'will' (future time)
... 0.25.1 is not released yet ... so I can't package it now.

See also http://gdesklets.gnomedesktop.org/ news "Xlib: unexpected async
reply" ... some desklets are bugged, so if you really want to fix the
problem now remove them for the moment.

Cheers,
