I wish I could enter character codes in hexadecimal form. This is, after
all, how they are normally represented in most programming languages and
character charts --- including the Unicode ones.

gucharmap is the new gcharmap and the default for the caracters entry is
the hexadecimal form, so I'm closing this bug.
