Okay, I can finally reproduce this bug, as well as #241361, with my 2.6
setup, but the weird thing is that it also happens with gnome-session
2.4.2-2.

To the list: in this case, I'm also experiencing a
gnome-background-properties crash on 2.6.

I'll investigate further on an unstable box tonight.
