Package: gnome-applets
Version: 2.4.0-4
Severity: normal

After login via gdm, a gnome2 session is started. During applet start,
mixer_applet2 crashes with a segmentation fault. I am asked if I want to
send a crash report.
Starting /usr/lib/gnome-panel/mixer_applet2 from command line shows
another behavior (no crash, does not end, cursor is in first line).
I have just upgraded my "unstable" system, and have rebooted the
system, just to make sure there is no old/new versions mix in memory.
It has not helped.
I have configured ALSA in the kernel, driver ice1712. PCM and CD
Digital In (IEC958 I) work (changing input using alsamixer).
