Hello,

The problem is that balsa parses emacs backup files #*# and *~ as
mailboxes,
so if for some reason you need to edit your mailboxes manually, balsa will
show #inbox#, etc.

Balsa upstream has already closed this bug report on Bugzilla and tagged
it as wontfix. There's nothing more I can do about it from my end. Feel
free to take this issue up on their mailing list if you'd like to take
this further.
