Package: gdm
Version: 2.4.1.7-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
It fails to start after some attempt. It just show the dotted green X
screen. Using just startx with gnome-session (or wmaker, or startkde) works
fine (so is not an X problem). Tring to start gdmconfig crash with a segment
violation.

The initial bug report was caused by the problem with libxrender1, since fi=
xed.
Roman's additional information is caused by libldap2 and libgnomeui-0 linki=
ng
with different libgnutls libraries, and is being tracked in #237218
