Bug#285497: contact-lookup-applet: addressbook offline when adding applet

I launched evolution with the Contacts feature opened and then added the
applet, but it said that the addressbook was offline. When I click in its edit
field, metacity switched focus off of my currently selected window, but the
applet doesn't respond in any other way.
