Package: sound-juicer
Version: 0.5.14-1
Severity: normal

Sound Juicer has started to on me in the middle of a rip. It dumps
core and doing a backtrace gives the following:

(gdb) bt
#0 0x4012629d in gst_bin_iterate () from /usr/lib/libgstreamer-0.8.so.1
#1 0x403d4f53 in g_child_watch_add () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0
#2 0x403d1b92 in g_main_depth () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0
#3 0x403d2c88 in g_main_context_dispatch () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0
#4 0x403d2fc0 in g_main_context_dispatch () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0
#5 0x403d3603 in g_main_loop_run () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0
#6 0x407094e3 in gtk_main () from /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0
#7 0x0805175a in main ()

So far, the crash has happened every time with my newest CD purchase.
Re-starting sound-juicer and skipping whenever it tries to rip a track
that has already been ripped lets it continue to the end, but I do not
know if it managed to correctly rip the track it was ripping when it
crashed, however with the following output to the terminal where I
started it from:

 (sound-juicer:11312): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: file gstbin.c: line 1259
 (gst_bin_iterate): assertion `GST_IS_BIN (bin)' failed

(All on one line, of course. I'm wrapping the line for easier reading.)

Ripping another CD worked fine, except for the same warning about
GST_IS_BIN printed out. At a first guess, then, it is somehow related
to the CD.

I'll be happy to test this with debugging versions of sound-juicer, if
it helps fixing it.

I can now rip the entire disk that gave me trouble before. I'm closing
