 Interesting, I never saw this with G2.4 but now see it with G2.5.
 
 I don't run nautilus on the desktop as my poor laptop doesn't have the
 CPU power I'd like, with G2.4 the wallpaper was still drawn and now
 with G2.5 all I get is black.
