Bug#231850: #231850: glabels: segementation fault upon startup

Hi,
	Unfortunately I do not have access to a comparable machine.  I recently
fixed some sloppy mistakes that could possibly lead to this crash,
however I cannot test this theory.  The changes are in CVS, if the
original submitter would like to test before I cut a new version (I am
not sure when that will be): 

$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.glabels.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/glabels
login $ cvs -z3
-d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.glabels.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/glabels co
glabels2
