Subject: mplayer needs -playlist option to play m3u format files
Package: gnome-mime-data
Version: 2.4.1-2
Severity: normal
*** Please type your report below this line ***
Hi,
I'm using mplayer packaged by Christian Marillat
<marillat.christian@wanadoo.fr>, which version is
1:1.0-pre4cvs20040620-0.0. I noticed gnome-mime-data added mplayer
item for m3u files. But my mplayer need a -playlist option to play them.
I checked the manual page of mplayer, it said:
-playlist <file>
Play files according to a playlist (1 file per row or Winamp or
ASX format).
NOTE: This option is considered an entry so options found
after it will apply only to the elements of this playlist.
I wonder if gnome-mime-data should add it.
Thank you.
