The Gnome startup splash screen and the desktop switcher dialog and the task switcher dialog /hang/ on top unless I click it. This appeared first in unstable at 3 July 2004 and experimental doesn't fix it. It seems to me that there are broken configuration files.

That means that I can not switch tasks by pressing [alt]+[tab] or desktops by [ctrl]+[alt]+[arrow-keys].

Closes: 253729
Changes:
 gnome-session (2.6.2-2) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * gnome-volume-daemon:
     + removed, it didn't register correctly with the SM (closes: #253729).
     + gnome-session.install: don't install it.
   * default.session:
     + start both magicdev and g-v-m, they now conflict with each other.
