Package: gnome-applets
Version: 2.6.2-1
Severity: minor
The weather applet has a "Forecast" window with three tabs - "Current
Conditions", "Forecast" and "Radar Map". If you click the applet and
select the "Forecast" menu option, it opens the "Forecast" window on the
"Current Conditions" tab which is not a forecast at all - I would expect
it to open on the "Forecast" tab.
I think the problem is the window title. "Forecast" as a title does not
apply to the "Current Conditions" tab, and maybe not to the "Radar Map"
tab (can't see, as it does not work for me), and is the same name as the
middle tab.
I would suggest changing the window name to something like "Weather
Reports" (or "Report") which seems to apply to each tab, and then either
change the applet menu item to "Weather Reports" or have a menu item
for each tab.
