Hi,
I have read bug #158872 as well as its "upstream" counterpart on the
Gnome Bugzilla, but this one, although related, is a different one.
While you could make a case both for and against cycling, I don't
particularly care.
The problem though is that the current behaviour (no cycling) has
gnome-terminal insert irrelevant characters (namely, ";5~" without
quotes) into whatever process occupies it if I hit Ctrl-PageDown while
in the last tab, or Ctrl-PageUp while in the first tab. This also
appears if I have no tabs (one single shell). It's only mildly
irritating when I'm in a shell, but if I'm in a text-based or curses
application, that can become quite obnoxious.
This is an up-to-date Sarge system.
Thanks,
Roland.
