Just updated gnome to 2.8.0 and noticed that when I try to start
gdesklets shell, I get "gdesklets shell has quit unexpectedly" dialogue
box which asks to report bug or restart app. This also happens minus
the shell if I try to configure/add/edit any of the running displays.
For instance if I try to add a new starter to starter bar, after I
configure it and close the configuration window, I get the "quit
unexpectedly" dialogue. I am assuming that one/some of the packages
that were upgraded during gnome-2.8 transition started this problem.
The desklets function i.e. starterbar will work the way it is setup,
goodweather display retrieves weather and such, I just can't make any
changes through shell interface or right clicking desklets.
