Hello,
My /etc/gdm/Sessions shows a session file for Enlightenment:
total 14
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 34 May 2 2003 Debian
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 3087 Aug 7 2003 Enlightenment
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 3089 Apr 2 06:42 Gnome
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1012 Jul 17 2003 KDE
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 3859 May 2 2003 Xsession
.... but there is no Enlightenment in the GUI session menu. In fact, there is
no way to start Enlightenment from the GUI without messing around with xsession
files and such.
Why doesn't Enlightenment show up in the GUI Session menu?

/etc/gdm/Sessions is a directory used by gdm < 2.4 in Debian. It isn't used
by the current version.

File a bug on enlightenment to include a /usr/share/xsessions/enlightenment=
.desktop
file so that gdm, kdm, and others know how to start it, and it'll appear in
the sessions menu if installed.
