Hi,

Sorry I'm pretty busy with work for some time. We are almost in freeze
(should already been in fact), so I'm not we have time to test such
changes for sarge ...

BTW why adding a patch in debian/patches ? The alternative stuff are
debian part, so we should change the debian/* files directly.
