Bug#272095: Metacity fail to install because it can't find /etc/gconf/schemas/metacity.schemas

Updating metacity to experimental i get the following error:

Setting up metacity (2.8.5-1) ...
I/O warning : failed to load external entity "/etc/gconf/schemas/metacity.schemas"
Failed to open `/etc/gconf/schemas/metacity.schemas': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing metacity (--configure):
 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

So I have created a symlink to /usr/share/gconf/schemas/metacity.schemas to continue the installation.
