solely calling /usr/bin/gnome-default-applications-properties, yields no
special output. It just pops up the gnome crash dialog!

It might sound strange, but my gdb only works when attaching to already
running processes. If I try to run it from within it keeps telling me:

(gdb) run
Starting program: /usr/bin/gnome-default-applications-properties
Cannot exec : No such file or directory.

Program exited with code 0177.
You can't do that without a process to debug.
(gdb) bt
No stack.

I think I am doing something wrong here. Any ideas?
