Hi,

I've just made a fresh sarge install on a i386 box with the daily iso of
the netinst. I've install wmaker + gedit and tried to reproduce the
crash with the procedure given in the previous mail, no luck, still
doesn't crash here. I've tried with C, fi_FI@euro, fr_FR@euro, and
fr_FR.UTF-8@euro locales, no crash.

To be sure, once gedit open with "gedit src/game.cpp" you click on the
new button in the toolbar and you get the crash ? I've tried new/open
button several times, it simply doesn't crash.

Ok, we can try to get more details:
- does it happen with C locale ?
- which environment/wm are you using ?
- the systems are sarge only and uptodate ?
- have you tried with a fresh user on the same box ? Since it's not
reproducible on fresh install perhaps that's due to some config
files ...

BTW thanks for the help on this.

Cheers,
