Bug#262487: gnome-panel: run in terminal not working

s bug just hit me too.  To reproduce:

1. right click on panel
2. Add to Panel/Launcher from Menu/Accessories/Text Editor
3. Right click on Text Editor, select properties and check 'Run in
terminal'
4. click Text Editor on panel-- gnome-terminal is launched, but gedit is
not

It doesn't matter what you are trying to run-- as long as Run in
terminal is selected, it doesn't work.

I can't say for sure what day it happened, as I didn't use this since
Friday, but here are the packages that were upgraded since the last time
I know 'run in terminal' worked:
