Bug#272358: preferred-application config dialog crashes on startup

I found the problem. My url-handler/mailto command was set to a boolean 
value. The gconf-editor showed a selected checkbox instead of a command 
to launch the mail composer. After changing it to a string value the 
preferred application config dialog shows up as expected.

Though this bug is not that serious, I still think the default 
applications dialog should not crash!

Reduce severity as you like. For me it is no sarge blocker!
