Package: rhythmbox
Version: 0.8.6-1

I'm getting 9-10 boxes of the following message when I try to play a
song on Rhythmbox 0.8.6:

"Your OSS device could not be probed correctly."

My soundcard is Terratec DMX6Fire which is based on the ICE1712 chipset
and I have never had a problem with playback with other programs using
OSS output (Muine, mplayer, xmms, madplay, xine.. etc)

I am not running artsd or esound nor do I run dmix.

The visible difference of this card to userspace is that it lacks a
"main volume" control in its mixer, most programs (eg. xmms) silently
ignore this, but perhaps Rhythmbox is more picky?

I'm using debian unstable with a self-compiled linux 2.6.8.1 kernel,
duron (i686) machine, libc6 version 2.3.2.ds1-16
