When dragging files from one Nautilus window to another (either
'browser' or 'spatial' types, it doesn't matter which on either end),
the receiving window switches to showing just the dragged file for a
split second then closes. The file copying dialog opens and runs and the
file copies/moves just fine, however it is extremely annoying when
trying to drag files from multiple places to one window, as I was just
attempting to do. When running nautilus from a terminal, this error
message pops up when the window closes:
(nautilus:29327): Bonobo-CRITICAL **: file bonobo-control-frame.c: line
720 (bonobo_control_frame_set_ui_container): assertion
`frame->priv->activated == FALSE' failed
Nautilus does not crash and the other windows are not affected. Had I
not seen the error message I would have thought that it was what
Nautilus was programmed to do (and perhaps it is... although I would
consider it broken behavior)
I don't know anything about bonobo so I'm not sure where to go from here
wrt debugging.
Thanks,
James

Thanks for your quick response. I'm closing the bug with this message.
