Package: gdm
Version: 2.4.4.7-1
Severity: normal
Followup-For: Bug #241184

Hi there. I had the same problem since...this morning. Reading a comment
above (the changelog), I understood that the changes were made so as to make
gdm and kdm compatible (as far as the configuration of the sessions' list is
concerned). So I simply got the desktop files from the kdm installation (if
u don't want to install it, just do a dpkg -x to extract the contents of the
deb package) and then found everything I needed.

See for yourselves :
http://packages.debian.org/cgi-bin/search_contents.pl?searchmode=filelist&word=kdm&version=unstable&arch=i386

So there's no bug...

See yah!

Hi

gdm 2.6 is in sarge. 2.4 was not in woddy. Closing this bug
report per the problem is fixed (hickups during gdm to
freedesktop format/directories are long gone).

Those reports seems like an aggregation of the PATH bug
(10 seconds error because the time tester was not found),
the session files migration and other packages providing the
session files not yet up to date. All are fixed yet.

If i misunderstood one of the report, feel free to reopen the
bug.

Regards
Alban
