Package: gnome-session
Version: 2.8.1-6
Severity: minor
When I log in from gdm, I see the following line in my
~/.xsession-errors:
/etc/gdm/Xsession: line 4: [: ')' expected, found /usr/bin/gnome-session
This is occuring because in /etc/X11/Xsession.d/55gnome-session_gnomerc
there is a call to `readlink /etc/alternatives/x-session-manager`.
However on my system there is no /etc/alternatives/x-session-manger
link.
I don't know if the code in 55gnome-session_gnomerc should be modified
to account for this possibility, or if something else is broken in my
system and that they x-session-manager link really should be there.

Something had broken the alternatives, but it's surely not gnome-session
itself. Closing the bug.
