Hi Josselin,

I believe you've received good news, system works again.

Somehow this thing happened and here's the info if you try to figure out why.

sid

I have been having trouble with kpackage & synaptic with this error messge
during install

Reading changelogs...
*** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (!prev): 0x08a8d3b0 ***
/bin/sh: line 1: 28043 Aborted /usr/sbin/dpkg-preconfigure
--apt

It seems to be trouble to somebody else as well, I recall seeing this message
in bug report, don't recall what was the package, but it came with compiler
updates to sid. I don't have an idea to which package this problem relates,
perhaps it has something to do with compiler.

That problem above sometimes hangs upgrade, then apt-get -f install fixes
things.

apt-get from command line works fine, so it could be something to do with
graphics as well.

Haven't made any bug reports from that since problem is known. But if you have
better idea where this comes or who should know about it, well, please
forward this.

I know but describes things best, when you upgrade large amount of packages,
