Bug#330927: totem-xine: Will not play MP3 stream from Magnatune - "There is no plugin to handle this movie."

The command:

   totem http://magnatune.com/artists/albums/wolff-moments/hifi.m3u

gives a dialog box with the message "There is no plugin to handle this
movie.".  Besides the minor detail that the URL points to a pure audio
stream, it would be nice if `totem` could play the MP3 stream.  Is
there a plugin package which missing from "recommends" or is there a
proper error somewhere?

It confuses me a bit that other streams from Magnatude worked fine in
`totem` until I upgraded a few libraries yesterday.
