This is most likely a problem in gnomevfs, IIRC:
$ gnomevfs-info http://he4.magnatune.com/all/01-Sergei%20Rachmaninoff%
20-%206%20Moments%20Musicaux%20Op.%2016%20-%20Andantino-Elizabeth%
20Wolff.mp3
Error: Service not available

Check if it works with older version of gnome-vfs.
