Bug#310811: balsa: Balsa crashes when sending a message or when opening a mailbox

Balsa goes mad when I try to open a mailbox, it uses 100% of the CPU. It
goes mad too when I simply try to send a message, without having opened a
mailbox, but this time no CPU is used. Balsa is actually not usable at
all.
Each time I must kill Balsa manually (-9 not needed).
I suspect a GNOME library incompatibility, because Gxine and Pan have
slight problems too.
Note that Balsa worked fine till yesterday, when I had to relaunch it
because I had to install the new the graphic driver.
