Bug#350140: nautilus: desktop artifacts when background image is tiled

i've had the same problem.
putting the background as centered solved this situation...
my computer is a pentium II 400 mhz, and i got debian testing
apt-updated 'till yesterday (sorry but i don't know how to give you all
the system infos about package and it's dependencies).
