Do you mean libgnomevfs2-extra? I have that installed. And anyway,
wouldn't the library throw some kind of error if I asked for smb:// when
there was no handler for smb installed?
$ gnomevfs-ls blah://
Error opening: Invalid URI
$ gnomevfs-ls smb://
$
