Hi,

I understand better what the bug is about now, but I still fail to
reproduce it. None of the applications I tried had a problem with
displaying my custom icon. All of them had perfect support in the icon
theme, and my icon still overrides this.

I also don't have a problem using .gif files as icons, can you attach
the file you mention above to the bug report?
