Hum, good question :
- before I attach the process gnome-panel with gdb, yes: 86% (see
top_gamin_0.txt)
- during the attachment, when gdb is running, no: 0.0% (see top_gamin_1.txt)
- after the detachment of gnome-panel... yes: 87% (see top_gamin_2.txt)

I notice that, in the setup of gdb (see
gdb-setup_gnome-panel_gamin.txt), there is this line :

even if fam is not currently installed :
