When linking something against Gtk (which in turn uses Pango), there's
an undefined reference in latest version of libpango1.0-0:

/usr/lib/libpangoft2-1.0.so.0: undefined reference to
`g_type_register_static_simple'

The supplied linker switches are:

-lgtk-x11-2.0 -lgdk-x11-2.0 -latk-1.0 -lgdk_pixbuf-2.0 -ljpeg -lpng12
-lm -lpangocairo-1.0 -lpango-1.0 -lfreetype -lcairo -lgobject-2.0
-lgmodule-2.0 -ldl -lglib-2.0 -ldl

This didn't happen till a few days ago.
