If one's network is static the default install loses DNS information on reboot. 

System:

Default +
Network manager removed
Two interfaces, both statically configured using network-admin

Symptoms: 

On reboot DNS information entered in network-admin disappears

Possible cause:

It appears resolvconf(8) is now installed by default but resolvconf settings are not configured by network-admin so starting networking (e.g. by rebooting) resets /etc/resolv.conf to being empty.
