Package: gnome-power-manager
Version: 2.24.4-2
Severity: normal

Hello,

gnome-power-manager used to work fine with cpufreq-userspace.
Before, as the README.Debian says, members of the powerdev group were allowed to changed cpufred settings.

But the policy settings seem to have changed. Previously, it was defined in

/etc/dbus-1/system.d/gnome-power-manager.conf

like:

<!DOCTYPE busconfig PUBLIC
 "-//freedesktop//DTD D-BUS Bus Configuration 1.0//EN"
 "http://www.freedesktop.org/standards/dbus/1.0/busconfig.dtd">
<busconfig>
        <policy group="powerdev">
                <allow own="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
                <allow send_destination="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
                <allow send_interface="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
        </policy>
        <policy user="root">
                <allow own="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
                <allow send_destination="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
                <allow send_interface="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
        </policy>
        <policy context="default">
                <deny own="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
                <deny send_destination="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
                <deny send_interface="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
        </policy>
</busconfig>

but this file is gone.

Please advise howto configure dbus perms for gpm and update the Readme.
Thanks
