Ekiga 3.2.4 requires latest ptlib and opal, see 
http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Download_Ekiga_sources

If you wish ekiga v3, either you upgrade to unstable/testing, or install 
the non-official packages I sent.

For ekiga v2, looking at the output, I do not understand what happens. 
Try removing all ekiga configuration (mv .gconf/apps/ekiga 
/gconf/apps/ekiga-backup) and see if it works.

I do not understand, could you explain what versions are you talking about?
